This locally owned, non franchise restaurant has consistently exceeded my expectations for quality authentic Mexican food in New Iberia. The parallada is my favorite, and the Top Shelf margaritas are very good. The patio over the bayou is great, and the live music inside a couple evenings per week are well attended. Some folks even dance.
We went for mother's day. Place full or customers. Mistakes were made, food took a little while to get to us, but having worked in that field gives you understanding. The workers there were non stop hustling never loosing their smile or patience. We had a new girl for our server. She was a Pro. This was impressive.
Waitress was very helpful, knowledgeable, pleasant. Food was delicious and a sizable portion for the price. Margherita was delicious. First time here but will be back.
